Though there is a tendency to equate flowers and floral arrangements with the feminine and thus the bridal side of a wedding party. However, here at Flower Station, we are committed to bringing grooms (and every male member of the entourage) bespoke and beautiful buttonhole designs to suit every style, budget and occasion. These designs, for example, were chosen by a groom who was looking for a simple and classic arrangements to match the blue suits worn by is ushers and best man. Our florists produced 12 buttonholes in total, combining two simple white roses with delicate English daisies and a fern leaf, tied off with a light blue ribbons. Though classically English and refined in style, we added a touch of tropical heat and mischievous sense of fun with the bold fern leaf flourishing behind the roses. Our extensive experience in the floral wedding market has given us great insight into what is required at such important times.Consequently, we have a great customer service record and know how provide the space and time necessary to deal with each new client on a one-to-one basis. This is an important part of the promise we make to our clients, a promise to ensure the highest level of care and consideration at every step of the process, to guide you through choices and help you decide on the flowers, colours and arrangements that are perfect for you.

Presented in a beautiful box with assorted loose rose heads, this peony bouquet is the picture of bridal perfection brought to life. As a single, stand-alone bouquet, thesepink peonies work wonderfully with some small touches of greenery just to offset the impact of the composition. The large, bold and distinctive petals of the peonies catch the eye immediately, their heads opening to reveal a dense and luxurious texture. There is no more opulent and extravagant a flower than the peony and delivered here as they are, wrapped and displayed with two dozen white rose heads on the morning of the wedding day is something truly special. With the thematic focus of the wedding centring on ‘springtime’, peonies were a natural choice. Strong enough to work as a single-flower bouquet, they add more than a dash of sophistication while also working to bring a real sense of flamboyance to an otherwise simple arrangement. For over a decade we have been producing moments such as this for brides – and grooms – all over the capital, bringing top quality events floristry to all our clients at competitive market prices. Whether you’re looking for buttonholes or bouquets, our team will help you choose the right flowers, in the right colour scheme, for the right budget. We strive to achieve excellence in every event and you can rest assured, with our experience and expertise, we can guarantee an amazing service every single time. Though we specialise in the more classical English style, we consider all requests and are always keen to work closely with our clients in the planning and design phase to make sure every element of the event goes according to plan.

Flaunting an abundance of mixed colour sweet-peas, these bridal bouquets are sure to turn heads up and down the aisle. Characterised by their large petals and exuberant, wave-like shape, sweet-peas make a great statement as part of a larger bouquet or, as is demonstrated here, simply tied together in white, purple and pink. A mass of undulating colour and texture, the sweet-peas are and ideal choice for creating a fun-loving and care free atmosphere where more traditional or formal flowers might seem too old fashioned. Put in conjunction with the other bouquets in this set, the sweet-peas act as a fizzling, fiery compliment to the larger, slightly more sober arrangements. Featuring a more neutral and traditional colour pallet, the three larger bouquets in the set, including the bride’s arrangement, set a different tone to the sweet-peas. Comprised of white David Austin roses, green and white hydrangeas and three variations of greenery, these sophisticated bouquets – hand wrapped in satin binding – produce a shade of glamour and a refined, adult finesse. The greens and whites help balance the composition as a whole, tying in white the white of the bridal gown while the sweet-peas, carried by bride’s maids, add a frivolity and dramatic splash of colour across the scene. Evaluating the relative merits and the viability of certain combinations, our florists always strive to produce beautiful and balanced bridal designs paying close attention to the needs and requirements of the clients themselves. Here, for example, they managed and juxtaposed on the one hand, the bride’s desire for extravagance, with a more measured and serious design on the other.

Tasked with balancing a powerful but also delicate set of arrangements for Mike and Karen, our dedicated team drew up a plan with the couple beforehand to settle on design, size, price and the logistics of the event.

Looking to bring the male members of the wedding party into line with the colour scheme and overall themes, we worked on and designed a modern and dynamic buttonhole for the groom and ushers. Centred on the bright yellow centre of the daises, the composition includes both light and dark roses, ruscus foliage leaves and tied with cream silk binding. Both sophisticated and exuberant, this buttonhole combines all the elements that the clients were looking for in terms of styling, colours and arrangement. It is big enough to create a sense of excitement and festivity, while the yellow plays well with the colour theme while the design avoids becoming overwrought or excessively large on the lapel.

Here at Flower Station we offer tailored wedding and event floristry for any occasion. Our experienced florists will help you at every stage of the planning process and guide you through the world of choices we provide. Each party will have a dedicated florist coving every aspect of the design and the practicalities of logistics and transportation. On the big day, depending on the location and size of the wedding, a team of florists assist in preparations and installation, ensuring no detail is overlooked. We can organise buttonholes, bridal bouquets and larger table arrangements as well as poesies and centre pieces. We have every angle covered and when the event is concluded, we remove all the flowers and vases to leave you hassle free and with time to continue enjoying the special day.

Working with our client to achieve a set of bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids that reflected their ‘wild at heart’ theme, the florists designed large and loosely tied arrangements for the natural aesthetic. The red colour scheme and colour of the bridesmaid’s dresses is acknowledged in the choice of red garden roses and red silk ribbons for the fastening. Combining with the red, pink roses and lisianthus add a dash of colour and a sense of messy chic that draws the attention to the Mediterranean feel of the eucalyptus foliage. Focusing on developing a free flowing, easy sense of naturalism in the bouquets while maintaining high standards of control and precision, our team allowed ample space between the different flowers, creating the illusion of a wild and completely natural composition. Recalling wild-flower bouquets and an atmosphere of serenity, elegant beauty and country charm coupled with the flair of originality. Planning and organising this design, our team of experience international florists worked closely with the bride and wedding planner to come up with the perfect balance and style of bouquet within their price range. Sometimes, stripping back to the basics and embracing the fundamentals can be extremely rewarding. This is as true with floristry as with any other subject and as we can observe, this simple but exquisite red rose dome brings all excess and extravagance back to a clean, simple and extremely effective equilibrium. Working with a couple to achieve a ‘Valentines’ wedding aesthetic for their ceremony in February, our team designed and produced simple and nostalgic rose dome bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaid’s. A luxurious choice that instantly conjures a sense of the romantic, the domes were hand-tied at our base in Marylebone and bound with gold silk ribbons to add to the feeling of indulgence before being taken to the venue by one of our own delivery drivers. Made with the finest fresh grand prix roses from Holland, the deep red and scented heads were ideal as stand-alone flowers in a bouquet. With enough charisma and strength to command attention on their own, there was no risk of these bouquets looking insubstantial. In fact, the texture and volume created by the number of roses together is striking in its own right, providing this particular wedding party with a definite kind of bombast. Here at Flower Station, our team of florists are committed to bringing a special quality and service to every single client. For that reason, we make sure all our events florists are available to meet and consult with clients at regular intervals and provide any assistance or guidance needed. For us, the customer experience is of paramount importance and we place great emphasis on developing good working relationships and communication at every stage of the planning process. We are convinced this is the key to providing a second-to-none service and consistently delivering excellent flowers for couples all over the capital, day in, day out.

Delicately composed of white roses, eucalyptus and red hypericum berries, this bridal bouquet is a masterclass in contemporary modern design. Excruciated to perfection, the arrangement delivers a sophisticated and nuanced display, with ample texture provided by the eucalyptus while the large heads of the roses capture attention and give the bouquet an elegant emphasis. Contributing to the overall affect, the hypericum berries offer a subtle sense of autumn and call to mind the season of falling leaves and the equinox. This was important for the clients as the wedding was to take place in mid-October in an outdoor location, and the bridal bouquets needed to have an elements that would reflect and compliment the environment. Combining a natural elegance with the more sophisticated appeal of the roses, this bouquet manages to balance two quite separate aesthetics, bringing together diverse styles to create something new and harmonious. Our team of international florists are always ready to incorporate any requests into the bouquets we design and will work closely with every client to make sure you receive exactly what is required for the big day. Communication is key to achieving the perfect balance for every single arrangement and the events team will hold regular consultations with you to agree on everything from the size and shape to what flowers are required and which are currently in season. Their experience and dedication is the key to our great service and here at Flower Station we pride ourselves on providing beautiful floral design to suit absolutely every taste.

pink-bq-wedding.jpg

A flamboyant and richly decadent bridal bouquet, this design speaks instantly of luxury and opulence, personified by the beautiful, multi-stemmed pink spray roses that form the basis for the composition. Following our brief to design a large and dynamic set of bouquets for a wedding with a pink colour scheme, our team composed and created a combination of classic pink roses, lisianthus and delicate lace flower. The design offers a range of pink tones and more importantly, a vibrant textured feel to the bouquet, with the lace flower emerging from the other flowers while the lisianthus and the closed heads of the spray roses sprout in different directions. The roses themselves hold the composition together, anchoring the design and bringing a sense of continuity in the chaos. The grandeur and extravagance of the bouquet is achieved in bringing these elements together from the conception phase right through to the final completion and delivery on location. Though it may appear as one smooth process when viewing the final product, the stages of bringing an idea to fruition are varied and our team of experienced florists are experts in every respect. From working with our clients in the initial planning, selection and colour choices, to sourcing the flowers, organising the logistics and offering regular updates, you can be sure our service is second to none. That is why we are one of London’s leading florists with experience of hundreds of events across the capital and the UK, bringing fresh flowers from around the globe to our customers in any number of unique, innovative designs from the most traditional bouquets to arrangements truly out of this world.

A bold and distinctive floral arrangement of white ‘avalanche’ roses and freesias, this traditional bouquet adds a dash of audacity and charm with dazzling diamonds pins. Working with the clients to produce arrangements for the bride and bridesmaids, our team were under instruction to follow specifically traditional lines in terms of design and composition, prompting them to develop a series of bouquets recalling the world of the 1960’s. With classic white roses from Holland, fresh purple freesias and sprouting green ferns, these arrangements were full of the fun and verve of 60’s while playing consciously to the refined and restrained English style. Adding a sense of fun and flair to the composition, the bride was keen to embellish the roses with diamond pins that while we do not stock regularly, were purchased and included in the bouquets. The overall affect is one of drama and opulence kept in check by the elegant design and the beautiful, pure white roses. As demonstrated here, our team of Flower Station florists are willing to help fulfil any requests in terms of design, styling or added floral flourishes. They work closely with every wedding party, holding regular consultations to ensure exactly the right flowers are chosen and everything goes of smoothly on the big day.
